On Thursday, I finally reached the end of Second Chance at the Seaside! I am so pleased with this story and have sent it off to two trusted friends with not a small amount of trepidation after the disaster that my fairy tale retelling was. But this is back in my lane. Firmly. So I have hope.

In the meantime, I'm going to try something new.

Generally, I'm a linear writer. Meaning, I write a book. I send it to my betas. Then the editor. Then get it formatted and put up for publication. And then -- and only then -- do I start on the next book.

I have tried once (maybe twice?) to start on the next while waiting for feedback, but then had a lot of trouble switching back and forth. But, that was also a while ago when my process was considerably different.

So, I'm going to give it a go. Because Christian's story is already starting to form itself in my brain, so why wait, right? It's been a while since a story was this insistent. So it feels as though I should carpe the diem.

We'll see how it goes.

Like it says in the descritption of the free tier, this is going to be a place where I share thoughts and ponderings, as well as some sneak peeks and maybe covers (although I'm still kind of cover-reveal shy after the whole retelling debacle earlier this year.)

I don't forsee there being any rhyme or reason to when I post. So don't expect anything "regular" -- but it's content that I would never put in a newsletter, or post on social media. Hopefully it'll still be interesting (I think it ought to be?) And I believe you can comment and we can converse as well. So...we'll see.

I'm imagining it a little like a reader group. Which I did attempt once on Facebook but it never went anywhere. Because I am terrible about social media.

Who knows, this may end up being the same. On the positive side? It costs you nothing. :)
